The Fayetteville Planning Commission met in special session at 10:30 A.M.,
August 17, 1964, at the Mountain Inn Motor Lodge.
Members present: J. F. Palmer, Chairman; Wade Fincher; Ernest Jacks; Bryan
Walker; Allan Gilbert, Jr.; and Clark McClinton.
Members absent: Suzanne Lighton, Bill Dalton and Henry Shreve.
Chairman Palmer called the meeting to order.
The problem of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Brooks was presented by Chairman Palmer.
After discussion, it was moved by Clark McClinton and seconded by Wade Fincher
that if the Brooks would -dedicate, deed -and make satisfactory contract pertain-
ing to the extension of Hillcrest Street completely across their property,
that the City Council then authorize the building inspector to immediately
issue the requested building permit to the Brooks. The motion carried
unanimously,
There was no further business, and the meeting was adjourned.
