MINUTES OF A CITY PLANNING COMtIISSION MEETING
The Fayetteville Planning Commission met in the City Council Room in the City
Administration Building at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 1964, in a regular session.
Members present: J. F. Palmer, Clark McClinton, Allan Gilbert, Jr.; and Ernest
Jacks. Also present was Harold E. Lieberenz, City Inspector.
Members absent: Suzanne Lighton (vacation), Bill Dalton, Wade Fincher, Bryan
Walker and Henry Shreve.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman J. F. Palmer. Mr. Palmer reported
there was no quorum present; therefore no formal action could be taken on the
problems on the agenda.
There was, however, discussion had on the street problems of territory to be
annexed to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. A petition for annexation had
been filed in the County Court of Washington County, Arkansas, on the 9th day
of March, 1964, by Seborn T. Perry and Audrey P. Perry, husband and wife;
Raymond J. Kitchens and Alma Kitchens, husband and wife; and Glenn W. Will and
Jean H. Will, husband and wife. The court order had been referred to the Plan-
ning Commission by the City Council for restudy and recommendation on the
streets. Harold Lieberenz, City Inspector, was asked to check at the County
Court House of the problem to determine if a plat had been filed by the above-
mentioned petitioners.
Harold E. Lieberenz, City Inspector, presented the final plat of Oaks Manor
Addition. The members present discussed this subdivision plat.
The Chairman requested that arrangements be made to hold a meeting at 9:00 A.M.,
Wednesday, July 8, 1964, in the coffee shop at the Mountain Inn. The meeting
was adjourned.
