The Fayetteville City Planning Commission met in a special meeting in the City
Council Chambers in the City Administration Building at 4:00 p.m, on Tuesday,
February 18, 1964.
Present: J. F. Palmer, Allan Gilbert, Jr., Ernest Jacket Bill Dalton, Wade
Fincher, Suzanne Lighton and Bryan Walker.
Absent: Henry Shreve and Clark McClinton.
This special called meeting was called to order by Chairman J. F. Palmer.
Mr. Palmer reported that the purpose of this meeting was to approve the minutes
of January 28, 1964 (public hearing) and February 11, 1964 (special meeting)
and to elect officers for the year.
The Chairman reported that since this special meeting was a postponed regular
annual meeting, officers for the coming year would be elected. Bryan Walker
nominated J. F. Palmer for Chairman. Suzanne Lighton seconded the nomination.
Mro Palmer was reoweelected Chairman of the Planning Commission by acclamation.
Ernest Jacks nominated Suzanne Lighton for Vice Chairman and Secretary. Bill
Dalton seconded the nomination.
Secretary of the Planning Commission by acclamation.
