• The Fayetteville City Planning Commission met in a regular meeting at 4:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, May 7, 1963, in the City Council Chambers in the City Administration
Building.
Members present: J. F. Palmer, Suzanne Lighton, Henry Shreve, George Caudle
and Hugh Stubblefield.
Members absent: Clark McClinton, Paul Young, Bill Dalton and Bryan Walker.
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman J. F. Palmer. The minutes
of the last two meetings, April 2, 1963 (regular meeting) and April 23, 1963
(special meeting) were approved as written and mailed to the members prior to
the meeting.
There was no report to be given from the Zone Revision Committee on trailer
courts.
The city inspector was not present at this meeting; however Johnnie Bassett's
South Sunny Acres Subdivision plat was submitted for discussion and study. The
City inspector had earlier discussed Mr. Bassett's subdivision problem with
Suzanne Lighton, Chairman of the Subdivision Committee; therefore she was
familiar with the problem. After discussion of the 50 foot strip which
Mr. Bassett wanted to leave on the south side of his proposed subdivision,
Miss Lighton was directed by the Chairman to talk to Mr. Bassett.
There was no further business; the meeting was adjourned.
I
Respectfully submitted,
