As requested by the Chairman, Harold E. Lieberenz, City Building Inspector, informed the Planning Commission members that in June of 1962 the recommendation of the Zone Revision Committee to permit mobile homes on individual lots in all industrial zones was accepted. A public hearing had not been held because of the need for the study of trailer (mobile home) courts. Both the mobile homes on individual lots and the mobile home courts, in the opinion of the majority of the Planning Commission members who attended the June meeting, could be considered at the same hearing. Eoff and Thomas Conley were referred to the Subdivision Committee for study and report at the next Planning Commission meeting. The hearing of the rezoning petition of J. W. Barron, Jr., who was acting in behalf of C. V. and Pearl R. Brown, was discussed by the Planning Commission members.
