HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-08-25 MinutesM • MINUTES OF FAYETTEVILLE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION A special meeting of the Fayetteville Planning Commission was called to order by Harold E. Lieberenz, City Building Inspector, at 2:00 p.m, on August 25, 1961. The Planning Commission members present: Mr. Palmer, Mr. Caudle, Mr. Young, Mr. S. Mr. McClinton, Mr. Stubblefield and Mrs. Siegel. Others present at the meeting: Mr. Harold E. Lieberenz and Mayor Brown. There was discussion conerning Mr. Milton H. Tatets property on Fifteenth Street. Due to an error in the property stakes, Mr. Tate does not have the proper setback line. As it is,the streetis forty-five (45) feet wide and it has been recommended to widen the street to eighty-four (84) feet. Mr. Young made a motion that we recommend to the City Council that Mr. Tate be permitted to finish the buildings for which building permits have been issued (Block 1, lots 3 and 4 on the Preliminary Plat, July 24, 1961, and on lots 2 and 3 on the proposed Final Plat, August 23, 1961) and that no further permitsfbe issued until Mr. Tate re -drafts his Final Plat in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance and the Major Street Plan. Mr. McClinton seconded the motion. The motion carried. Mr. Palmer made a motion that no new structures on Block 2 and 3 be constructed • until the whole tract is platted and approved by the Planning Commission. Mr. McClinton seconded. The motion carried.
