HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-07-25 Minutes0 • MINUTES OF FAYETTEVILLE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION A regular meeting of the Fayetteville Planning Commission was held at 4:00 p.m., July 25, 1961. The meeting was called to order by Vice—chairman Clay -Yoe, Planning Commission members present: Mr. Yoe, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Caudle, Mr. Shreve, Mr. McClinton and Miss Lighton. Others present at the meeting: Mr. Lynn Smith, Mr. Bryan Walker, Mr. Raymond Nelson and Mr. Harold Lieberenz, 1. Mr. Raymond Nelson presented the items that he and Mr. Lieberenz had been working on for the proposed changes of Zoning Ordinance No. 1239 and its amendment No. 1255. Mr. Nelson suggested August 15, 1961, as a date for the public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance. There were no objections to the date. 2. Mr. Lynn Smith of the City Council Planning Committee presented to the Planning Commission the proposed policy for minimum street standards for the City of Fayetteville. He asked that a date for public hearing be set to amend the subdivision ordinance. Miss Lighton suggested a public hearing be called August 16, 1961, on amending the subdivision regulations. There were no objections, so the • chairman set the date for August 16, 3. Mr. Nelson said he would have some preliminary items on the revision of the Major Street Plan for the next regular meeting. 4. The Planning Commission members decided to hold their regular meeting Tuesday night, August 1, 1961, at 7:00 p.m* in the Council Room. The meeting was adjourned. 11
