A special meeting of the Fayetteville Planning Commission was called to order
on April 25, 1961, at 4:00 p.m. by Chairman Emory Gose,
Planning Commission members present: Mr. Gose, Miss Lighton, Mr. Caudle,
Mr. Yoe and Mr. Stubblefield.
Others present at the meeting: Mr. Harold Lieberenz,
1. Randall Roberts' Petition to rezone lots 11, 12, and 14, Hillcrest
Addition, and all of Blocks 3 and 4, McIlroy Addition from R -1B
to R-2, (bounded on the north by Crescent Drive, on the west by
Fletcher Avenue, on the south by Dickson Street, on the east by
the east line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 15 in Township 16, North of Range 30 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian).
Neither petitioner nor objectors were present. Mr. Stubblefield
moved to recommend to the City Council that the petition be
granted. Mr. Yoe seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
2. Mr. Yoe moved that the filed zoning map showing a clerical error
should be corrected to include in I-lA, the area from the present
south line of the I-lA boundary as shown on the filed map, south
• to North Street and from the east boundary of the Church of Christ
property east to Skull Creek.
Mr. Caudle seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
3. Mr. Yoe moved that the regular May 2 meeting be dispensed with and
that the matters to be acted upon be combined with the special
meeting on May 5 at 4:00 p.m. Mr. Stubblefield seconded and the
motion passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned.
