E. Gose, with George Caudle, Chairman, presiding and other members present being E. E. Gose, Hugh Stubblefield, Clay Yoe, Paul Young, Jr., Garland Wheeler and Suzanne Lighton. Raymond Nelson of the University's Planning Division also was present. Mr. Caudle reported about the problem of Mr. Paul Psevy's proposed construction of a building on a lot in his Meadow Vale Addition where there would be a conflict between the planned building and the suggested location of a street under the City's Major Street Plan. The problem had been referred to the Planning Commission by the City Council. Mr. Caudle said that after the Planning Commission had approved Mr. Peevy's plan on June 8, 1959, it was realized that there was a conflict between the plat and a street as suggested under the Major Street Plan; Mr. Peevy was notified of this by letter on June 19 and that from dis- cussion afterward it was believed the problem was worked out. However, Mr. Caudle said that he had made two trips today (November 20) to inspect the property, accompanied by representatives of the City Council's street committee and by Mr. Peevy, and that the problem could be resolved by locating the suggested street to run on Ashwood Street in- stead of on Brower Street. Mr. Caudle ate• had, his pin._po_is ing of the street would mean the t eev-SS's lan R not be affected by the Major Street Plan. On motion of Mr. Gose, seconded by Mr. Wheeler, it was unanimously voted that this portion of the City's Major Street Plan be pinpointed to locate the street on Ashwood Street, and that the Planning Commission recommend that the City survey the areatIg rtdi,to fix the definite location of this sug- gested stree to%Razorback Road.
