FAYETTEVILLE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
DECEMBER 9, 1958
Members present: George Caudle (Vice Chairman, presiding in
the absence of Clay Yoe, Chairman)+ T.E. Gose, Hugh Stubblefield,
Garland Wheeler, and Suzanne C. Lighten.
The meeting was a special called session to consider the question
of the proposed extension of Razorback Road south from Highway
62 to connect with the Old Wire Road at Vale. It was explained
that the State Highway Department would accept the road and
that the Phipps Lumber Company would give a right-of-way for the
part of it going through that property. On motion of Miss Lighton,
seconded by Mr. Gose, it was unanimously voted to approve the
proposal and to include it as a part of the ?caster Street Plan.
In regard to the plat of Reinheimer Subdivision, action on which
had been deferred at the November 3, 1958, meeting, it was moved
by Miss Lighten, seconded by Mr. Stubblefield and unanimously
• voted to recommend approval of the plat, subject to approval of
the City Engineer,
In regard to the plat of Garriott Subdivision, which had boon
approved at the November 3, 1958, meeting subject to the correction[:
of an angle at the Southeast corner of Lot 10 in relation to Brooks
Avenue, the plat corrected as required was submitted and on motion
of Mr. Wheeler, seconded by Mr. Gose, it was unanimously voted to
recommend approval of the corrected plat.
In regard to the plat of Bill Hornsby Subdivision, which had
been approved at the November 3, 1958s meeting but corrections
on which were required, the corrected plat was submitted showing
the name of "Sill Hornsby Subdivision changed to "Hornsby Addition"
and showing the location of easements. On motion of Mr. Wheeler#
seconded by Hr. Stubblefield, it was unamimously voted to recommend
approval of the plat.
