4. Champs League — David Wright, Recreation Superintendent
Fayetteville Parks and Recreation recently completed a very successful
League, a recreation program for children with special needs. Thirty-eight children
participated during the first season. David Wright will introduce Kristi Sixkiller, Champ's
League volunteer coordinator. Also, you will see a short video that recaps the first season as
well as advertise the program's future.
5. Urban Forestry Position Request — Jeff Coles, Maintenance Superintendent
Bill Dollar, Landscape Committee Chairman, will present a proposal to PRAB to add a
position of Urban Forestry to the Parks and Recreation Division. See attached memo from Bill
Dollar, Landscape Committee Meeting Minutes and Urban Forestry Job Description.
