Approval of PRAB August 7, 2000 meeting minutes. 2. Approval of PRAB Special Budget August 28, 2000 meeting minutes. 3. Red Oak Sign Donation Request: Linda Doyle has requested to donate up to $1,000 for a sign to be located in Red Oak Park in memory of her late husband Richard Doyle who was developer of the Bridgeport subdivision. Mr. Doyle donated and installed the pavilion, basketball court, volleyball court, picnic tables, and trail. PRAB Motion: 5. Meadowland Park Land Meeting: • Please check your calendars for a special noon meeting to be held the week of September 18 - 22. This meeting is to review the Meadowland subdivision park land in which the new Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club is to be built. Parks currently has 3 08 acres of land. The owner is donating 2 acres to the Boys and Girls Club and has offered to sell them an additional 7.69 acres at $10,000 per acre. The developer, Butch Robertson, has consented to deed an additional six acres of land to Parks to be banked on future developments in the southwest park district. Our legal attorneys have confirmed that development can be banked on future development as stipulated in the ordinance. The land dedication of six acres is the issue PRAB needs to vote at the special meeting. Mr. Robertson and Wischmeyer Architects will be attending to explain the details. • • 6. Wade Colwell's Report on Central Park Observations 7. Park Master Plan: Eric Schuldt (See attached dates.) 8. Skate Park Public Meeting Date: Eric Schuldt Tentatively set for October 3, 2000. 9. Red Oak Park Public Meeting: Tentatively set for Tuesday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m. There is $45,000 in our capital improvement plan to develop Red Oak Park in the Willow Springs entrance located on Lonesome Dove and Cheyenne Way. We would like to have a public meeting to solicit public input for the park's development. 10. Other Business 11.
