PARKS & RECREATION
There are two new subdivisions submitted to Parks for our review of the Park Land Dedication
Ordinance. They will be on the agenda for the Monday, December 6, 1999 PRAB meeting. We
will meet at 12 noon on Betty Jo Drive. DIRECTIONS: Go west on Wedington Drive
(Highway 16 West) and turn left or south on Betty Jo Drive, which is located
between the Spot Not Car Wash and Betty Jo Korner service station. We will
meet at the end of the road. The second new subdivision is located off Appleby Road. It only
contains 17 new homes, so we will determine after reviewing the plat if PRAB wishes to visit the
site or not. Both developers have requested money in lieu.

Ozark View Park, which was selected as the site for the future Youth Center. The
development has included a swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, recreation
building, picnic tables and grills, and an open park area
