Plantation Avenue in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The meeting was held to solicit neighborhood input on the development of the 4.25 acre parcel of park land. Staff present were Kim Rogers, Eric Schuldt, and John Nelson. Approximately twenty neighborhood residents also attended the discussion. Ms. Rogers stated the budget for park development was $55,000. She encouraged the neighbors to brainstorm and prioritize amenities favored for implementation. Mr. Schuldt said 4.25 acres ofpark land for a subdivision this size is wonderful, and the location [at the back of the subdivision] is an added benefit. Ms. Rogers explained the park was named after H.E. and Callie Bundrick because the developers donated more park land than was required by the Park Land Ordinance. Neighbors suggested the possibility of raising funds to help with development. Brush clearing, turf improvements, lighting, additional fencing, and placing a gate at the cul de sac were suggested. Additional suggestions for park development included a hard surface trail, playground equipment, picnic facilities, and swings. After prioritizing the wish list, residents agreed on a playground structure meeting the needs of ages 2-12 should be implemented first followed by trail construction, picnic facilities, and swings. The meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m. August 9, 2001 / Page 1 • • • THURSDAY, AUGUST 9, 2001 BUNDRICK PARK MEETING NAME (Please Print) .NAME (Please Print) (Mcc, PrJ y e44..../ / OigPn )` Q7,Qcszwne 73071"`/ lfl/! !'An/(iOVV_ t)0.U/ 4 A /rk %Ail r5 Log - thQ , Y n -- a i3•-orsor r \ Gl,4. 1J -j -<- 5 .
