Members Present: Alexander, Anderson, Jenkins, Robertson, Waselues Staff Present: Braswell, Clark, Cox, Edmonston Media Present: Tom Sissom, Ron Wood BUSINESS I. MOTION:ALEXANDER/JENKINS The minutes from the May 20, 1991 and June 3, 1991 meeting were approved unanimously 5-0 with the exception of adding Don Munsell's name to the staff present on June 3. II. GREEN SPACE Timber Crest Owner/Developer: Mike Pennington Park District: NE Number of Units: 58 Land Dedication: .73 acres Money in lieu: $6,090 • MOTION:JENKINS/ 'ER PRAB recommends to the Planning Commission to accept money, $6,090, in lieu of land for the green space requirement on Timber Crest. MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY 5-0 Wedington Heights Owner Developer: BMP Development Park District: NW Location: North of Hwy 16, East of Salem Road Number of Units: 151 Land Dedication: 1.89 acres Money in lieu:. $15,855 MOTION:ALEXANDER/ANDERSON PRAB recommends to the Planning Commission to accept money, $15,855, in lieu of land for the green space requirement on Wedington Heights. • MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY 5-0 J PRAB Page 2 Paradise Place Owner/Developer: Wayne Bryant Park District: NE Number of Units: 32 Land Dedication: .4 acres Money in lieu: $3,360 MOTION:WASELUES/ALEXANDER PRAB recommends to the Planning Commission to accept money, $3,360, in lieu of land for the green space requirement on Paradise Place. MOTION APPROVED 4-1 (JENKINS NAY) III. FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM A meeting was held with PRAB members to prioritize the CIP's. Greathouse Park was added to the CIP program because the park bridge is in very poor condition and the only means to access the park. IV. FAYETTEVILLE VISION RESULTS A copy of the Vision results was distributed to PRAB members. OTHER BUSINESS POOL REPORT Edmonston reported that the pool attendance and revenues are higher than recent years. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS The JTPA programis currently rebuilding trails at Lake Fayetteville, Finger Park, and Gregory Park. DTPA provides the funds for salaries for the youth and supervisor, parks maintenance provides the equipment necessary and the City provides a vehicle. The program is scheduled to run through August 2, 1991. A letter from David Stahle was received by the Parks Division stating his wish to save the natural prairie mounds at Gulley Park.
