The minutes from the July 16, 1990 5-0. 5:15 p.m. in room meeting were approved II. GREEN SPACE Waterman Woods Owner/Developer: Tomlinson & Brooks Location: S of Cleveland, E of Sang Avenue Park District: SW Number of Units: 23 Land Dedication: .29 acres Money in lieu: $2,415 MOTION: COLWELL/KTMBROUGH The PRAB recommends to the Planning Commission to accept money, $2,415 in lieu of land for the green space requirement. MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY 5-0 III. GREEN SPACE PROJECTS/ORDINANCE REVISION Clark reported that the Youth Center Playground Apparatus is near completion. The topsoil work on the Asbell soccer field will be completed soon and the irrigation system will'be installed by the end of August. Jorgensen and Associates will start the pians on the soccer field at Walker Park North this week. Discussion on the revision of the Green Space Ordinance was tabled until the August 20, 1990 PRAB meeting. PRAB Page 2 IV. GULLEY PARK MASTER PLAN Clark reported that the Green Space requirement for the Jason P. Kennedy Estates that trades two of the nine lots bordering the Gulley Park entrance has fallen through. According to the engineer, Harry Gray, the owner has decided not to pursue the development due to the cost. Bids will be out to the public on the entrance, 6 foot hard surfaced trail, sand volleyball court, fitness stations, and bridge footings (35" and 50' spans). • V. CITY POOL JULY REPORT Edmonston reported that July attendance and revenues were below Junes, but were above the July 1989 figures. Attendance was 3,000 pool patrons above July 1989 and the pool office revenues were $2,000 above July 1989. The concession revenues were $600 bel July 1989. The pool will close on Labor Day Weeken , e tember 3, 1990. See attached report. OTHER BUSINESS: LAKE FAYETTEVILLE SOFTBALL FENCING Clark reported that bids are being taken for the safety fencing between fields #2 and #3 at Lake Fayetteville Softball Complex. The deadline date is August 10. Bids are expected to be between $3,500 to $4,000. Pians are to turn field #3 around using fill dirt from the Arts Center. PARKS & RECREATION FEES PRAB Budget Committee will present recommendations to PRAB concerning fees that the Parks and Recreation Division charge at the next PRAB meeting held on August 20, 1990.
