II1 IV. 915 CALIFORNIA DRIVE 72701 501 442-9242 PRAB REGULAR MEETING JUNE 5, 1989 Sega called the Regular Meeting of the Parks visory Board to order at 5:10 p.m. Alexander, Colwell, Lucas, Melton Ryan, Sego, Waite Clark, Edmonston, Fullmer Kit Williams Minutes of Regular PRAB Meeting held May 1, 1989 were approved, Gulley Park Proposal Kit Williams, Chairman of Rotary Club, visited with PRAB concerning the Rotary Club building a bridge at Gulley Park. Mr. William ask when would be a good time to donate money so that the city would match it with possibly grant money. Mr. Clark said that it would be mid -next year before monies could be match. Mr. Clark suggested that the Park needed progress now. Charlie Sego requested trash cans to be place at Gulley. Colwell will check with the Chamber of Commerce concerning trash barrels. Mr. Sego also suggest that an asphalt parking lot be built instead of gravel. A gate needs to be part of the parking lot design. Location of the three bridges need to be staked and assistance from the City Engineer for a bridge plan. An engineering design will be discussed at the next PRAB meeting. PRAB & City Board Parks Tour Date Due to rain, Charlie Sego will talk to Bob Kelly about rescheduling the Parks tour. Green Space Status Report Connie Edmonston reported the following Ggeen Space revenues: (Estimated) NE NW SE SW $30,926.00 $315497.00 $65210.00 $4,1111.00 Green Space Heather Heights: Park District: NE Developer/Owner: Sam Mathias, Dennis Smith Location: North of Hwy 45 Just W. of Sons Chapel. Single Family Units: 6 Money Dedication: $630 Land Dedication: .07 Money in Lieu: MOTION: PRAB makes the recommendation to accept the money in lieu of land dedication for the Green Space requirement in the Heather Heights Place Development. Motion passed unanimously. (7-0) Meadowridge Subdivision Phase - 3 Park District: NE Developer/Owner: Hayes Location: W. of Old Missouri Rd/S. of Zion Rd. Multi Family Units: 44 7?? Money Dedication: $3,740 Land Dedication: .44 acres Money in Lieu: MOTION: PRAB makes the recommendation to accept the money in lieu of a land dedication for the Green Space requirement in the Meadowridge Subdivision Phase Development. Motion passed unanimously. (7-0) VI. Capital Improvements VII. Other Business Clark announced that Chuck Yarbrough moved and that a new board member is needed from the Youth Center Board.
