Minutes of the Regular PRAB Meeting, Held January 16, 1989 were approved. II. STEVE ALEXANDER - NEW PRAB MEMBER PRAB welcomed Directors, to to January 1, Steve Alexander, appointed by the City Board of serve a two-year term effective January 1, 1989 1991. Mr. Alexander replaces David Lashley. III. PRAB ELECTION OF OFFICERS - 1989 Motion: Lucas/Colwell To elect Charlie Sego as Chairman of PRAB. Motion passed unanimously. (8-0) Motion: Ryan/Colwell To elect Andy Lucas as Vice Chairman of PRAB Motion passed unanimously. (8-0) Motion: Ryan/Waite To elect Chuck Yarbrough as Motion passed unanimously. Secretary of PRAB. (8-0) 20, 1989. IV. Appointment of 1989 PRAB Committees: Tabled until next PRAB meeting, February V. GRE E N S PAC E Phase II Northwest Acres Estate Owner/Developer: James Moore Location: HWY 16 West (W. of Rupple Rd.) Acres Estates. ..1 ison, Koore 14 1 MOTION: RYAN/MELTON PRAB makes the recommendation to accept the money in lieu of a land dedicatio!J for the Green Space requirement in the Phase III Northwest Acres Estates. Motion passes unanimously. (8-0) VI. City Ordinance restrictions on night fishing and use of trot and jug lines at Lake Sequoyah: Mr. Donald Ray Wood expressed his concerns about the City Ordinances and State Laws governing bodies of water for fishing purposes. His questions included: 1. Can any one city determine what type of fishing they allow on city owned facilities? 2. Does a river with a dam become classified as a "Navigable Stream"? If so, does it mean that citizens can fish that body of water at any time in any manner? Mr. Wood also expressed a need for signs along the river designating city Owned property. Dale Clark agreed to take these concerns to Jim McCord, City Attorney, for further investigation. Dale will also be keeping Mr. Wood informed of all action taken on the matter. VII... PRAB - City Board Annual Meeting: The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 1989. PRAB will meet on Thursday, February 9, 4:30, Rm. 326 in City Hall to further discuss information for that meeting. VIII. Gulley Park Civitan Run: Wade Colwell reported that plans are finalie ed for the Saturday, February 18 cross-country race at Gulley Park. IX. School Facility Usage Report: Dale Clark is scheduled to meet with Winston Simpson and Charlie Russell on Tuesday, February 7 to discuss availability of school facilities for recreational activities.
