REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 5, 1988
Chairman Bill Waite called the Regular Meeting of the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board to order at 5:00 p.m.

Dr. Pete Heinzelman, Mr. Greg Anderson
I Minutes of the Regular Meeting, held November 21,
1988, were approved.
II. Fayetteville Soccer Association
Pete Heinzelman and Greg Anderson were
interested in the 1989 projects for Asbell
Walker Park soccer fields. Their needs
and

Water - Asbell and Walker for irrigation
Walker Park North field #3 development
Concession stand at Walker Park
Parks Director and Parks PRAB stated that
the Parks Department will maintain Asbell and
Walker Park to the required parks maintenance
level and any custom work beyond this will be
the responsibility of the Soccer Association.
III. Gulley Park Brochure Report
PRAB suggests the following additions to
the Gulley Park Brochure:
1. Walking, Jogging, Biking Trail - 1 mile
$4.00/foot
2. Make checks payable to the Fayetteville
Parks & Recreation Trust Fund.
A suggestion was made to utilize the sidewalk
on Township from Old Wire Rd. as part of the
trail. Dale Christy, from the Fayetteville
Chamber of Commerce, may have money from the
Chamber Trash Clean-up program which can be
used to purchase trash barrels for Gulley
Park.
IV. Lake Ordinance Revisions and Policy Adoption
MOTION: RYAN/LUCAS
PRAB recommends this issue be assigned to the
Facilities Committee: Colwell, Lucas, Sego.
Motion passed unanimously. (7-0)
