DRAWER F 72702 (501) 521-7700 PRAB REGULAR MEETING December 21,1987 The Regular Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board was called to order at 5:05 p.m., by Chairman Bill Waite. Members Present: Staff Present: Guests Present: BUSINESS Colwell, Lashley, Lucas, Melton Ryan, Waite, Yarbrough, York Clark, Speck Jerry Jensma, McClelland Engineers I. The Minutes of the Regular PRAB Meeting, held December 7, 1987, were approved. II. PROPOSED GULLEY PARK - Clark - Colwell Clark and Colwell reported that Mrs. Gulley has stated she would like either interest or a lump sum payment on the Gulley land sale. McCord will present this information to the administrative staff and get back in touch with Colwell, prior to presenting the contract to Mrs. Gulley. III. PUBLIC FORUM BOARD -APPOINTED TASK FORCE FOR PARKS AND RECREATION - Clark PRAB complimented Clark and Edmonston for their presentation before the Public Forum Board -Ap- pointed Task Force for Parks and Recreation on Wednesday, December 16, at 10:00 a.m. Their review of the 5 -year Parks and Recreation Long -Range Plan was especially well received; the prioritized plan will be enmeshed with the Task Force Plans and reviewed at the next meeting to be held January 4, 1988. IV. LAKE FAYETTEVILLE AND LAKE SEQUOYAH - Clark Lake Fayetteville and Lake Sequoyah will be closed from December 24, 1987, through January 14, 1988. • V. VI.
