SPECIAL MEETING
September 8, 1987
The Special Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Meeting
was called. to order at:5:15 p.m.,. by Beverly Melton, Vice
Chaitman,.at the Gulley Farm.
Colwell, Lucas, Melton, Ryan, Yarbrough
Clark, Edmonston
GULLEY PROPERTY POSSIBLE NORTHEAST PARK DISTRICT
PRAB.cal.led a Special Meeting to explore a piece of
property for consideration as a park in the Northeast
Park District.
The property is located at the intersection of Old Wire
Road and Township Road on the Northeast side of the road.
There are approximately 20 acres which contain Mud_._
Creek and a pond. A portion of the land is in the flood
plain. Entry roads were also looked at on Countryway
.Road, Church on Township, Old Wire Road, and at the
Church of Christ on Old Wire Road.
Mrs. Gulley is asking $125,000. for the. 20 acres. She
stated it could be paid off in 10 years C$12,500. per
year) with no interest.
