DRAWER F 72702 (501) 521-7700 PRAB REGULAR MEETING January 5, 1987 The Regular Meeting of the Parks Board came to order at 4:00 p.m. MINUTES: Minutes of the December 15, 1986 BUSINESS: I. and Recreation Advisory meeting were approved. ELECTION OF OFFICERS The following slate of officers were nominated and elected by acclamation: Bill Waite, Chairman Beverly Melton, Vice Chairman II. COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS Committee assignments were deferred until the next regular meeting. III. WADE COLWELL - NEW PRAB MEMBER PRAB welcomed Wade Colwell, appointed by the City Board Of Directors, to serve a two-year term effective January 1, 1987 to January 1, 1989. IV. PARK TRUST FUND ANNUAL REPORT - LASHLEY The 1986 Park Trust Fund Annual Report, furnished by David Lashley, is attached as an addendum to these Minutes. V. 1987 BUDGET REPORT - CLARK City Board has passed a resolution allowing ten percent of thebudget to be spent on operations and salaries. Bathrooms at the Lake Fayetteville are being worked on. Bathrooms at Wilson Park will be started when the budget is approved. South side of Lake Fayetteville will remain closed until March. VI. GREEN SPACE - EDMONSTON HAYS ADDITION PHASE I Developer: Park District: Location: Single Family Units: Green Space Land Requirement: Green Space Money in Lieu J. B. HAYS N.E. By Park Place Highway 45 E 7 .09 Acres . $735 MOTION: YORK/LASHLEY PRAB makes the recommendation to accept money in lieu of a land dedication for the Green Space requirement in the Hays Addition phase 1. WILSON PARKING LOT- CLARK Clark and Reid met with David Jorgenson to review plans that will cause the least disturbance, and provide 45 parking spaces. PRAB members were asked to provide further input at the next regular meeting. IX. PARK TOUR DATE - EDMONSTON Waite and Edmonston will assign parks for each board member to evaluate. Park evaluations will be reviewed at the Spring Park Tour. X.
