DRAWER F 72702 (501) 521-7700 PRAB REGULAR MEETING October 20, 1986 The Regular Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board came to order at 5:00 p.m. Plans were formulated for the annual presentation to be made to City Board on Tuesday, October 21, 1986 Meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. Members present: Ryan, Lashley, Lucas, Melton, Waite, York Staff Present: Clark, Edmonston j PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FACILITY POLICY The Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department shall approve and oversee all tournaments conducted on Park facilities. 1. All tournaments will be administered by the Parks Director. a. Financial Matters b. Facility Maintenance c. Schedule Approval 2. All tournament hosts must be members of the Parks Depart- ment Leagues, unless approved otherwise by the Parks Director. 3 All approved revenue-producing activities, such as the tournaments, must be conducted by an organized association. These activities may not be sub -contracted by any organizgd group. 4.. All personnel conducting tournaments will be under direct supervision of the Parks.Deparment, such as tournament directors, umpires, scorekeepers, concessionaires, field - crews, etc. 5'. The Parks Director has the authority to grant permission for use of the park facilities to outside groups on a lease basis. a. No gate fee may be charged unless prior written approval is granted by PRAB to be obtained specifically as a fund raiser to benefit the Parks Department. The Parks Department shall control all concessions and their workers. c. Cleanup deposit of $100 is required prior to the tournament. This fee is returned only if the area and restrooms are satisfactorily cleaned up. FACILITY USAGE FEES Daily Fee per Field Used from 8:00 a.m. until. 6:00 p.m. $20 (Use of No Lights) Daily Fee per Field Used from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. $30 i.Use of Lights)
