Combs Parks. The additional purchase of
Park is on hold.
VI. Park Land Search
Dale Clark met with Larry Woods concerning the park master
plan's need for additional parks to be located in the north-
east and northwest sections of the City. Woods pinpointed
land that might be available in the location of the needed
parks. For the northwest park district he suggested land
off Appleby Road and by Leverett Gardens. For the northeast
park district he suggested the Stubblefield Estates (corner
of Old Wire Road and connected to Butterfield School) and
a flood plain area by Township Road. Dale Clark and PRAB
will investigate these possibilities.
VII. Green Space: Quail Creek Addition
Developer: Wade Bishop
Location: Gregg Street
Single Family Dwellings: 116
Park District: Northwest
Green Space Land Requirement: 1.45 acres
Green Space Money in Lieu: $12,180
PRAB Discussion: There is need for additional park land in
the Northwest Park District and in the Appleby Road vacinity.
The Green Space requirement of 1.45 acres would not be large
enough. However, additional land may be available to make a
5 -acre park in that area. Before PRAB makes a recommendation
