Park Land Search Dale Clark met with Larry Woods concerning the park master plan's need for additional parks to be located in the north- east and northwest sections of the City. Woods pinpointed land that might be available in the location of the needed parks. For the northwest park district he suggested land off Appleby Road and by Leverett Gardens. For the northeast park district he suggested the Stubblefield Estates (corner of Old Wire Road and connected to Butterfield School) and a flood plain area by Township Road. Dale Clark and PRAB will investigate these possibilities. VII. The Green Space requirement of 1.45 acres would not be large enough. However, additional land may be available to make a 5 -acre park in that area.
