Dear David,
January 15, 1984 -
By requesting competitive bids from three scientific
suppliers, we have obtained a lower price for the Galen II
Professional Mocroscope. The trinocular microscope and
attached camera will cost $1434.73 from Sargent -Welch,
making your Board's Trust Donation $717.37. We are very
greatful for this opportunity to improve our instructional
material for students and the general public.
If it meets with your group's approval, we would like
to spend the remaining $182.63 on pine trees to continue the
perimeter planting project you have assisted us with in the
past.
We are very, very pleased with the cooperation we have
received from you, and the highly competent assistance we
have gotten from Bob Braswell and the City workers you sent
us. Particular mention should be made of the very fine job
being done for all of us by Connie Edmonston.
