FALL TOUR 1983

1. Check light fixture in pool
2. Put diving boards up
3. Check on sidewalks
4. Plant mum plants by the culverts on the east side
5. Dale is getting bids on a gate for the tennis court
so that the park crew can drive a truck onto the court
to change the lights
6. Need to replace the ballfield bleechers, scorebox,
dugout and go with underground lighting for the field
7. Put railroad ties and sand around the playground equipment
HOTZ PARK
1. Put railroad ties around the equipment
2. Paint equipment
3. Need to put pallions or something to keep vehicles off
the grass on the southeast end
BATES PARK
1. Need to solve the water problem on the pavilion roof
FINGER PARK
1. Be sure and build a good buffer for Mr. Cox's home which
is located right beside the park
GREATHOUSE PARK
1. Need post with cable on the northwest end
2. Talked about asphalting the parking lot
3. Put basketball backboard in the park close to Levi Plant

INDUSTRIAL PARK

1. Looked at the land offered for lease
PRAB first priority is to provide a spot for the
Model Airplane Club Would like Dale Christy to
come to the PRAB meeting on the 22nd of November
to clarify the lease and boundaries.
BABE RUTH PARK
1. Need new bleechers
2. Move small bleecher from Field #1 to #2
3. Need picnic tables
WALKER PARK SOUTH
1. Fence needs repair on the north end
2. Need to provide more parking— It is hazardous to the
children. Could extend lot south or build a footbridge
and have another lot across the branch,
WALKER PARK NORTH
1. Need to move on playground equipment for Walker Park
North. ASAP Will have Ron Bales from Apex at next meeting
if possible.
GREGORY PARK
1. Get bushes off the fence on the east side
2. Need to put fence up to keep motorcycles out
ASBELL PARK
1. Basketball rim is bent down on the east side
2. Renovation to be completed soon
LAKE FAYETTEVILLE SOUTH SHORE SITE
1. Need more playground equipment and picnic tables
2. Would like to build sand volleyball court also at Walker Park
3. Discussed turn around area on north west end.
