Soccer fields south and across 265 from modle airplane field? 2. Archery range: • a. Put gate on entry road. b. Clean up and mow area for archery group. c. Mow rest of area except next to road (to keep vehicles on road.) d . Plant pine trees on north end as a 'gtuffer. 3. Environmental area would make a good 9 hole municipal golf course. Now have a 50 year lease on the land from the schools. 4. North pavillion a. Wrong sign (Gregory Park). Remove sign and put correctly. b. Put up correct sign. 5. Softball Complex a. Field needs top soil. (From Asbell pile). b. Bleachers need to be on concrete pads. c. Check with Don Gromes about amount needed to purchase golf area. d . Kiddies play park: 1) Needs more equipment 2) Needs a fence enclosing it. 3) Look into putting gate across road to west for safety of kids. e. Extend parking closer to ball field f . Fence at north end of field beginning to sag. g . Look into cost of two batting cages and slow pitch gages for summer of 1982. 6i Lake Front area. Needs some policy for consistency in closing time. 7. South Pavillion a. Turn off drinking fountain water. b. Replace pavillion light bulb. c. Look into problem of timer for light system. d . Continuo to close the park December, January, and February. 8. SWEETBRIAR PARK 1. Needs a cem ent slab. 2. Need a fence to control motorcycles. BUTTERFIELD PARK 1. Need dirt work on softball and soccer fields. 2. Look into reorienting the field. ROOT PARK 1. Needs dirt work. 2. Repair hole in soccer goal. 3. Pavillion rieedsstriping for basketball. 4. Gas odor was evident in closed building when heartera not on. IN GENERAL 1. December meetings: Tuesday, 8th, 7:45 am and Tuesday 22nd, 7145 2.
