7L. David has an appointment to meet with Skip Rutherfod when he is
in Fayetteville.
2. A preliminary study is needed for Asbell gyq}. Don Hunnicutt has
.looked at it but nothing written. The rRkB will wait for the census.
3. It was suggested that DRAB disucss with the American Legion the
possible purchase of the American Legion ballfield. CD funds
previously allocated for Asbell and 'iiashin_ton Mountain might possibly
be used for purchase if we receive a no for eligibility of Asbell.
t. There should be 135,900 left over from 78-79 allocations: It
was suggested to use this money for the soccer and softball fields
in Calker ?ark.
WALKER PARI:
1. A preliminary master plan study was approved by the city board

2. Bill Waite has asked the Soccer Association for a letter of
needs over 5 years, to be received by the 18th. Theta he can return
the engineer and they can finalize plans.

SWIMMING POOL.
Beverly Melton read through what will he presented to the City
Hoard on the 17th. David Lashley moved with a second by George
Knight that, "The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board approved the
report of the Swimming Pool Committee with a few minor alterations.
They recommend to the City Board that they also accept this report
and proceed to select an engineer for the project." I"otion •
carried unanimously.

ADMINISTRRATIV_ ASSISTANT
The review committee will tentatively meet at 8:oo on the 19th in
Dalets office at the FYC, to interview applicants.
TV
An educational TV group from Little Rock will meet Thursday the
19th with DaleClark, Don Grimes and Harry Vandergriff to discuss
the advantages of cooperation among their groups.
PPAB MEETINGS
Due to confilicts the meetings of 1RAB for December and January
have been changed to tho first and third Monday at 7:I5 am in the
Directores room. At the next meetinm we need a status report on
the programs we are handling.
