The committee was extremely impressed with Richard Nailor
of• Paradise Continental, contractor, and his. apparent degree
of competency and knowledge about this specific type of pool
project. He was highly recommended by one of our committee
members as having a very high quality reputegtion.
Although all made good presentations, only three could be
chosen. The others were placed fourth or lower because of:
(In order of presentation)
1. Neal Albright, Engineer and
Richard Nailor, contractor
Lack of architectural expertise for buildings,
general layout and landscaping.
2. John Mahaffey and Paul Matkee, engineers
Lack of architectural expebtise for buildings,'
general layout and landscaping.
3. Baxter Smith of Seaside Pools
Lack of architectural expertise for Buildings,
general layout and landscaping.
4. Brackett and Kennerich, architects of Jonesboro, Ar.
The committee was highly impressed with'the apparent
ability of architectual integrity this firm has shown
in past recreational areas. Many good suggestions
could be used. The distance of supervision by this
small firm (3 people) was of great concern. It is felt
there should be more than 1 to 2 days overseeing a week.
