The neetin was called to order I) -,r the Chairman, David Lashley and the minute%
of the last meeting vrere approved.
The first order of businsss ras a discussion of the neighborhood facility
u'lich was at one time pno_)osed adjacent to the Naval 1!oserve Building. A different
arrow) is now :roridng to promote a recreational. facility some whore in a TaWent area.
Just about e.-erione on -the Comnittee had been contacted to get their opinion. Since
the original plan fell through, the City vias no longer obligated to contribute x94000.00
to the project. L. r. Lloere reported that Oa Uie guiuelines were so changeable, it is
not feasable to approach a facility in the area under the present situation.

Er. Lashley recormended that ::e procede with the overall plan as recommended by this
cem:ission instead of trying to concentrate in the lijaited tanget area. A committee
of ' don, Lashley, r4ran, and Broim will. be in touch .:1th the local citizens Action
Comittee for RtGereation facilities in the Tangent area.
Ys. Lashley received the letter he vTrote1to the City Council and Lr. 11x..0 abnat
his disappointment over the lack of several recommended projects by this ckmrdttee
