;-f,ss :argaret Wooten, Claude Sutton and Jim Brown, Parks and Recreation
Director. Absent: William Brandon. A motion was made and seconded to
�isnense with the reading of the minutes from the August meeting. (A copy
of the August minutes were mailed to Board members previous to the Septem-
ber-eeting.)
_. Lashley introduced two items of business to be considered:
A. The need for overall planning in determining needs for development
of parks in the City of Fayetteville.
B. The tentative budget. This budget is to be submitted to Lr. Wesley
Howe, City Manager, by September 18.
:. Lashley read the proposal prepared by Mr. Brown concerning the pare

It i:as pointed out that various gro L'ps in the City had commented on t.

proposal -some highly in favor while disagreed with the purpose to be served
by t':,_s facility. After reviewing Mr. James Vizzier's report on long range
D1an::= Dr. Ryan made the motion that a recommendation be made to the
..ity -,. rd of Directors that Mr. Brown's proposal be accepted as submitted.

that need to be made in the dressing room area of the City Swimming Pool.

A motion was made by Dr. Ryan and seconded by Mr. Sutton that the
