October 10,1950
The Fayetteville Public Library Board met in regular session at 7t00
p.m. on October 10,1950 in the Library.Mr.Oreenhaw presided.
Members present were Miss Vaulx,Mrs.Swartz,Mrs.watsen,Mr.Or.eenhaw,
Mr.Moriwether,Mr.Blessom,amd Mr.McMillen, Mrs.Deal met with the Board.
The Librarian's report,preaented by Mrs,Deal,showed a circulation
of 2475 for September.
Mrs.Deal further reported the following items:
That a high chair for the circulation desk had been ordered
at an approximate coat of $40.
That a new sign for the Library had been ordered made.
That there had been janiter trouble, especially in the form
of upswept stairs.
That a window display had been placed in the Red Cress Drug
Store for the Community Cheat Drive,thanks to the generosity of Mr.Pratt;
who lent the use of the window for that purpose.
The Treasurerls report showed a balance of $3297.33 in the First
National Bank*
It was voted to refuse to accept the -resignation of Mrs.Vincenhaller
as treasurer and member of the Board.
