The.Fayetteville Public Library Board met in regular session On April 11
at 7s00 p.m. in the Library rooms.Mr.Mcwhortor presided.
Members present were.Mr.McWhorter,Mrs.Vincenheller,Mrs.watson,Mr.Oreenhaw,
and Mr.MeMillen. Mrs.Deal,County Librartan,also met with the Board.
The minutes of the March meeting were read. and approved.
The Librarians report showed a circulation of 2880.The Librarisn reported
that about two-thirds of the work of inventory and cataloging was finishad.She
also reported on the number of books bound,magazine subscriptions renswed,etc..
The Treasurer's report showed a balance on hand of 41993.87 in the First
National Bank.
Mr.Greenhaw report an the coat of various types of window shades,both sin-
gle and'double.No action was taken at this time.
It was reported that about 75 persona came to the open house at the Library
rooms on March 29.
