The Library
Board
met in -regular
session on June 17,1947,}+pith the

presiding,
members present were sr.;':ic'<uhorter,rir8,iiichardson,,''v.rs.Vincenheller,
irir.butler, Nir,f:ieriwether,and i�lr.mcieiillen.
The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved,
The Treasurer's report,read by i+ Yrs.Vincenheller,showed a balance in
the rirst National Bank of 4,1230,93,
The Librarian's report showed a circulation total of 1801,.a decrease
of 194 as compared with the preceding month, For the corresponding month
in 1946 the circulation was 22713.
Upon the recommendation of the Librarian,:rirse"dvatson,it was voted to
appropriate the sum of �2i�;5 for the binding of about 75 volumes of maga-
zines.
.'Ars.Watson having presented her resignation as Librarian to take effect
not later than October 31,1t was voted to appoint a committee consisting
of fars.hichardson and 11.1r.14cifiillen to secure the services of some one to
fill the vacancy,
i'he Secretary was instructed to write a letter of appreciation to
Lii3a Mary d'llen Hill for her services as library assistant daring the
past year,
