Library Board,blay 20
On call of the Chairman,MreblcFJhorter,the Library Board met in special
session at 7:00 P.M.,May 20,1946 to discuss the problem of a successor
to Miss Jobelle Holco,nbe,the Librarian,who finds it necessary to give tip
the position as she is leaving the city.
Members present were Mr.McWhorter,Miss Vaulx,Mr9.Sv+artz,lvlrs.Richardson,
MraGreenhaw,Dr.Basler.and Mr.MCMillen.Miss Holcombe also met with the
Board upon invitation of the Chairman.
The following action was taken:
That Miss Holcombe and Miss Vaulx be authorized to begin correspon-
dence with Mrs.C.B.Wiggins with a view to securing her services as Librarian
to replace Miss Holcombe by July 1,1946.
Adjourned.
