The Library Board held its regular monthly meeting on April 9,1946.
Members present were Fdr.hYcWhorter,Mr3.Vincenheller,t,4iss Vaulx,
Mrs.Richard.son,Dr.Basler,and
Mr.MCMillen,Mr.MCWhorter
presiding.
The minutes
of the March
meeting were read and,after
slight corrections,
were approved.
A letter of appreciation prepared by Mrs.Vincenheller and Miss Vaulx,
expressing the thanks of the Board for the long and faithful services
of Mrs.McClelland to the Board as Secretary and member was read.
The report of the Librarian was read and is filed with these minutes.
Mrs.Vincenheller read the Treasueer's report which was accepted and filed.
It was voted to approve the report of Dr.Basler on the"Modus Operandi of
the Book Committee and Its Relations with the Librarian"and to adopt its
proposals.The report is filed with these minutes.
It was voted to elect Mrs.D.elbert Swartz a member of the Board to succeed
