The Library Board met on March 12,1946 at 7:00 F.id.
Members present were idr.<a%-,,;Quer,:?r s.Vincerheller,Tdiss Vaulx,
u4rs.iiiehardson,Dr.;3asler,idr.Butler3and, Mr.fdeMillen.
In the absence of the chairman the meeting was called to order and
conducted by Mr.Waggoner,the vice-chairman*
cdr.McMillen was asked to read the minutes in the absence of the secre-
tary,Mrs.McClelland. The minutes were approved for the February meeting.
The Librarianfs report was read,accepted,and ordered filed.
A letter that had been received from Dr.Clark Jordan in answer to one
of appreciation from the Board's committee was read and ordered filed with
the minutes.
The Treasurer's report was read and accepted.It is filed with these
minutes.
Mrs.McClelland,the secretary of the Board,presented by letter her
resignation,made necessary by her early departure from Fayetteville.The
resignation was accepted with great regret and a committee consisting of
Miss VaulX.Mrs.Vincenheller,and fdrs,hlehardsen was appointed to write a
letter of appreciation to Mrs.McClelland for her many years of service
on the Board as member and secretary.
Mr.Mcmillen a3ml was elected 4r secretary. of the Board in place of
Mrs. McClelland,resigned.
