months of this year with the same period of !944, it is
interesting to note that there has been a decided in-
crease in both non-fiction and children's books. 880
more children's books were issued and 264 more non-fiction.
Recent donations of books have been made by Mrs.
Richardson, Mrs, Hotz, Mrs. Jamison, Miss Katherine Brown,
Mrs. Vincenheller, Mrs. Lowell Chaney, Mrs.. George wade,
and Mrs. E. H. Sonneman. Severe; of these were volumes
for the memorial collection.
