Treasurer's report by Mr. Lewis, Approved.
Report by Miss Vaulx re a book which lists the soldiers
from Virginia and which the D.A.R. would like to have in
Library. Dr Jordan reported favorable to purchase of the
book. Motion by Mr. Lewis that Dr. Jordan be asked to
buy it. Seoond,MaWhorter. Carried.
Librarian's report.Aocepted for record.
Report by Wertheim of Dr Baerg's speech. Moved by Miss
Vaulx seconded by Wertheim that a letter of appreciation
be sefit to Dr, Baerg for his assistance. Carried.
Free discussion of the teas,eto., in connection with the
art exhibit recently held.,of the possibility of putting
up a small wall case for temporary exhibits of various
kinda...of getting a large wall map of the U.S. from a
oongressman or someone else who may be in a giving mood,*
of thepossibilit of making some small book racks for
use of library pa rons who are doing reference work.,
of installation of a "map molding" to the wall for the
hanging of maps and charts (the mayor promised to install
this gratis),...of possible donations from some of the
merchants to be used for books. No action on any of the
above.
