Library Board meeting called to order by President Glasson. Those
present were Messrs. Root,Russ um; 11isses Vaulx,Yeater and Rollston; Mrs.
Lighten mzd Mre.McClelland.
Minutes read and approved. Treasurer not present,her report to come
latere fir.Russum reported that money Prom city would be paid in January.
Votion made and carried to permit Miss Rollston to purchase a set of books
for children. Mr.Root donated a book; The Ristory of the Central Presby-
terian Church* fir,Russum reported that book yard had been cleared9of old
houses and shed which would reduce the fire hazard.

Minutes read and approved. Librarian's report accepted,also that of the
Tressurer#---balance Jan.l 1931 of 1$458.46. There vias some discussion
upon the drive for funds and it was decided to start early in ?ibbruary.
Motion made by Mr.Root and carried that MrelVircenheller be authorized to
buy pledge cards and other material. Vesting adjourned.

Citizen's Meeting Jan .5
At the close of the Board meeting a citizen's meeting was held. F;r.Root
acted as temporary chairman and Mrs.McClelland elected temporary secretary.
Poved and seconded ----and carried---- that the Secretary cast a unani-
mous vote for the following members of the New Board:----

Annual report given by Zeiss Rollston. This was accepted with praise

cepted with thanks. Motion to adjourn carried.

Fasting of the Few Board Jan 5 1931
At close of citizen`s meeting the new Board met and elected Yr. -Root
Cy ) temporary chairman and Mrs.lfcClelland secretary. Motion made and carried
that the officers of the Old Board'be re-elected. Yotion made and carried
to re-elect Viss Rollston as Librarians fiction rade and carried to allow
the Hook Comnitte ""150.00 the committee to use their ovm discretion as to
the division on adults and children's books.
President Vlasson appointed committees as follows; ---
Buildings and Grounds- ... Russum.Byrd,Root and Lewis.
Books .... Jordan,Root.l.l:isses Vaulx and Rollston.
'Finances---_Vineenheller,Lighton Yester,Silverman,Russum
Publicity ---- Mra.Lighton.

Vincenheller, Ligh ton, Yes ter and McClelland.
