Library Board meeting called to order by President Masson. Those
present were liessrs. Root,Russum; 11;isses Voulm.Yeater and Rollston; Mrs.
Lighton end Mrs,YcClalland.
Minutes read and approved. Treasurer not present,her report to come
later* pr.Russum reported that money from city would be paid in January.
Motion made and carried to permit Miss Rollston to purchase a set of books
for children. Mr.Root donated a book: The History of the Central Presby-
terian Church. Mr.Russwn reported that back ,yard had been cleared9of old
houses and shed which would reduce the fire hazard.

Messrs. Hoot,Russivn,Jordan,t7ssson;Mi8ses Vaulx,Yeater,Hollston;l'rs.Lighton
and MrsX.cClelland.
Minutes read and approved. Librarians report accepted,also that of the
Tressurert --- balance Jan.l 1931 of $458.46. There vias some discussion
upon the drive for funds and it was decided to start early in February.
Potion made by Mr.Root and carried that lirs?Vincenheller be authorized to
buy pledge cards and other material. Meeting adjourned.

Citizen's Meeting Jan .5
At .the close of the Board meeting a citizen's meeting was held, Yr.Root
acted as temporary chairman and Mrs.11cClelland elected tenrorary secretary.
I"oved and seconded ----and carried---- that the Secretary cast a unani-
mous vote for the following members of the New Board:----

Annual report -given by Hiss Rollston. This was accepted with praise
and with thanks. Treasurer`s report given by Mrs.Vincenheller and ac-
cepted with thanks. Potion to adjourn carried.
