Library Board meeting called to order by President Wasson. Those
present were hessrs. Root,Russum; hisses Vaulm.Yeater and Rollston; Yrs.
Lighten end Yrs,YcCle:llanda
yinutes read and approved. .Treasurer not present,her report to come
later. L7r.Russum reported that money from city would be paid in January.
Votion made and carried to permit Miss Rollston to purchase a set of books
for children. A7r.Root donated a book: The Aistory of the Central Presby-
terian Church. Y r.Russum reported that back ,yard had been cleared9of old
houses and shed which would reduce the fire hazard.
Meeting adjourned.

Minutes read and approved. Librarian's report accepted,also that of the
Tressurerq---balance Jan.l 1931 of p458.46. There viae some discussion
upon the drive for funds and it was decided to start early in Tibbruarys
lotion made by Mr.Root and carried that 13re?Vincenheller be authorized to
buy pledge cards and other r..aterial. Yeeting adjourned.

At the close of the Board meeting a citizen's meeting was held. Mr.Root
acted as temporary chairman and Yrs.McClelland elected temporary secretaryo
