HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m. October 22, 2015, in the City Administration Building, Room #111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Mike Emery, Chairperson called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Mike Emery, Christopher White, Carma Unruh, and
Matthew Cabe
Commissioners Absent: Chris Terry
Others Present: Deniece Smiley (Fayetteville Housing Authority)
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Limited Partnership Dissolution — There was discussion regarding the required
fees and paperwork that needed to be submitted to the Arkansas Secretary State.
The Chairperson provided the required signatory to complete this action.
NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Board Meeting. No corrections or
changes were made to the September Regular Board Meeting Minutes.
Christopher White made a motion to approve the minutes as presented and Carina
Unruh seconded it. The Board Approved unanimously.
B. Appro4al of September 2015 Financial Statements. No corrections or changes
were made and Christopher White made a motion to accept the financial records
an(d Carina Unruh seconded. The Board approved unanimously.
C. COn'sideration of Adopting a Smoke Free Facilities Policy for all Public Housing
Properties — The Board voted to move forward with this action and requested a
formal resolution which would formally adopted at the next meeting.
D. Approval of Resolution No. 1034 — Authorizing Execution, Recordation and
Delivery of Declaration of Trust - Christopher White made the'. motion to adopt
this Resolution No. 1034 and Carma Unruh seconded. The Bard approved
unanimously.
E. Approval of Resolution No. 1035 — Authorizing the Award of Contract for the Fire
Alarm Notification System Upgrade/ Replacement — Christopher White made the
motion to Accept Resolution No. 1035, and Carma Unruh seconded. The Board
approved unanimously.
F. Executive Director's Report. Deniece Smiley hit the highlights of her previously
submitted written report.

being no
further business, meeting
was adjourned until the next scheduled Regular
Board

on November 19, at 6:00
p.m.
