HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m., January 22, 2015, in the City Administration Building, Room 111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Mike Emery Chairman called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Mike Emery, Chris Terry, Chris White, Carma Unruh,
Matthew Cabe
Others Present: Fredia Sawin and Deniece Smiley (Fayetteville Housing Authority)
Old Business: None
New Business
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Meeting -No corrections or changes to
the December 18, 2014 regular Meeting Minutes and the board approved
unanimously.
B. Approval of December 2014FinancialStatements-No corrections or changes to
the December 2014 Financial Statements and the board approved unanimously.
C. Approval of Resolution No. 1007 — Resolution to Void Checks from Fayetteville
Housing Authority Funds Outstanding over Six Months from date of Issuance —
Chris Terry motioned to approve Resolution No. 1007, seconded by Chris White.
D. Approval of Resolution No. 1008 — Resolution Authorizing the Charge Off of
Certain Non -Expendable Equipment That Was Junked — Chris Terry motioned to
approve Resolution No. 1008, seconded by Chris White.
E. Approval of Resolution No. 1009 — Resolution To Charge Off Delinquent
Accounts of Former Tenants For Period 10/1/2014 — 01/31/2015 — Chris Terry
motioned to approve Resolution No. 1009, seconded it by Chris White.
F. Approval of Resolution No. 1010 — Resolution Authorizing the Award of
Contract for Boiler Replacement Capital Fund Emergency Grant #
AR37E097501-13 — Chris White motioned to approve Resolution No. 1010,
seconded by Chris Terry.
G. Executive Directors Report — Ms. Smiley waived verbal remarks and asked that
her report speak for itself.
Prior to conclusion of the meeting, the Board presented Ms. Fredia Sawin with a gift of
appreciation and made remarks concerning her tenure and accomplishments with the
Fayetteville Housing Authority. i
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next scheduled Regular
Meeting on February 26, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
