THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular
Session at 6:OOpm, Thursday, June 26, 2014, in the City Administration
Building Room # 111.
Matthew Cabe, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at approximately
6:OOpin.
Commissioners present: Matthew Cabe, Leon Jones, Jr., Chris Terry, and
Carina Unruh.
Commissioners absent: Mike Emery
Others present: Fredia Sawin and Deniece Smiley (Fayetteville Housing
Authority)
Old Business:
A. Approval of Resolution #983 — Authorizing Payment to S. E. Clark &
Associates for Draw # 18 — Invoice # 1323 in the amount of $10, 000
for Direct Costs in Connection with Predevelopment Costs for Lewis
Plaza — this item was tabled to next month in anticipation of receiving
requested back up material for invoice payment from Steve Clark.

in order
to
give extended
time
for
providing comments to Board Chairperson.
C. Approval of Resolution # 986 — PHA Certifications of Compliance
with the PHA Plans and Related Regulations - AR 097 - Chris Terry
made the motion to accept the plan as presented and Leon Jones, Jr.
seconded.
D. Approval of Resolution * 987 — PHA Certifications of Compliance
with the PHA Plans and Related Regulations — AR 181- Chris Terry
made the motion to accept the plan as presented and Leon Jones, Jr:
seconded.
New Business:
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Board Meeting — No
Corrections or Changes were made to the May 22, 2014 Regular
Board Meeting — the Board unanimously approved.
B. Approval of May 2014 Financial Statements — May 2014
Financial Statements were received without questions — the Board
unanimously approved.
C. Approval of Resolution # 990 — To Void Checks from Fayetteville
Housing Authority Funds Outstanding over Six Months from date
of Issuance — Leon Jones, Jr. made the motion to approve Resolution
# 990 to Void Checks from Fayetteville Housing Funds Outstanding
over Six Months from date of Issuance and Chris Terry seconded.
D. Approval of Resolution # 991 — To Charge Off Delinquent Accounts
Of Former Tenants For Period 02/01/14 to 05/13/14 - Chris Terry
made the Motion to Charge off Delinquent Accounts of Former
Tenants for Period 02/01/14 to 05/13/14 and Leon Jones, Jr.
seconded.
E. Approval of Resolution # 992 — Authorizing the Charge Off of
Certain Non -Expendable Equipment that was Junked — Leon Jones,
Jr. made the motion to Authorize the Charge Off of Certain Non -
Expendable Equipment that was Junked and Chris Terry seconded.
F. Executive Directors Report — Fredia Sawing reviewed her written
report.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned until the next
Scheduled Regular Board Meeting on July 24, 2014.
