HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:18p.m., April 25, 2013, in the City Administration Building, Room #111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Matthew Cabe, Chairperson called the meeting to order at 6:18pm. At that time, there
was not a quorum of commissioners present to conduct business. Steve Clark, of S. E.
Clark and Associates was permitted to introduce and describe a recent initiative of HUD
- (RAD) Rental Assistance Demonstration Program. There was a brief opportunity for Q
&A and the discussions ended with a request by board for more information.
At 6:22pm Mike Emery joined the meeting and after Clark's presentation was completed
the meeting was opened for business.
Commissioners Present: Matthew Cabe, Mike Emery, and Leon Jones, Jr.
Commissioners Absent: Jon Edwards
Others Present: Fredia Sawin, and Deniece Smiley (Fayetteville
Housing Authority)
New Business
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Board Meeting- No corrections or
Changes to the March Regular Meeting Minutes and the board
approved unanimously.
B. Approval of March 2013 Financial Statements — March 2013 Financial
Statements were reviewed and there being no questions the board approved
Unanimously.
C. Five Year / Annual Agency Plan Presentation by Randy Hoeschein with Ledford
Planning and Engineering was rescheduled to next month due to Hoeschein
experiencing vehicle problems.
D. Update on Lewis Plaza Redevelopments Project- Steve Clark & Associates,
None other than announcement date for ADFA awards on May 7, 2013.
E. Executive Director Report — Ms. Sawin reviewed her written report.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next scheduled Regular
Board Meeting on May 23, 2013 at 6:OOp.m.
