AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Special Session at
12:30 p.m., March 2, 2012 in the City Administration Building, Room 111, Fayetteville,
AR.
Commissioners Present: Leon Jones, Jr., Olivia Hom, Hugh Earnest and
Matthew Cabe
Commissioners Absent: None
Others Present: Fredia Sawin and. Laura Higgins (Fayetteville Housing
Authority)
I. Leon Jones, Jr., Chairman called the meeting to order at approximately 12:30
p.m.
A. Approval of Resolution No. 924 -Approving Amendment to Lease
Agreement with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC for Hillcrest
Rooftop Antenna -Ms. Horn motioned to accept Resolution No. 924,
seconded by Mr. Earnest and discussion made. Mr. Jones requested
that Ms. Sawin to go back to Cingular and renegotiate renewal time of
one to threes years instead of five years. Motion carried with two "aye
votes" and one "nay vote".
B. Approval of Resolution No. 925 -Approval of Contract/Task Order for
Redevelopment of Lewis Plaza from S. E. Clark and Associates -Mr.
Earnest motioned to `accept Resolution No. 925, seconded by Ms. Horn
and carried unanimously. Mr. Earnest read into the record that on
page 51 of the task order it states "however owner can terminate the
agreement at anytime after completion by developer of a task order."
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next scheduled Regular
Meeting on March 29, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
