HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m., November 18, 2010, in the City Administration Building, Room 111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Leon Jones, Jr., Chairman called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Leon Jones, Jr., Olivia Horn & Brittany Kendrick.
Commissioners Absent: Mark Kinion and Hugh Earnest
Others Present: Fredia Sawin, Laura Higgins (Fayetteville Housing
Authority)
New Business
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Meeting -No corrections or changes to
the October 28, 2010 Annual Meeting Minutes and the board approved
unanimously.
B. Approval of September 2010 Financial Statements -No corrections or changes to
the September 2010 Financial Statements and the board approved unanimously.
C. Approval of Resolution No. 887, Authorizing the Submission of Section 8
Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) Certification for Fiscal Year Ending
09/30/10 -Discussion was made and Ms. Hom motioned to accept Resolution No.
887, seconded by Ms. Kendrick and carried unanimously.
J). Approval of Resolution No. 888, Authorizing the Submission of Public Housing
Management Assessment Program (PHAS) Certification for Fiscal Year Ending
09/30/10 -Discussion was made and Ms. Kendrick motioned to accept Resolution
No. 888, seconded by Ms. Hom and carried unanimously.
E. Discussion of Per Diem for Commissioners Travel to Conferences -Discussion
was made and Ms. Sawin passed out information for the board members to take`
home and review. The Commissioners will review the information and this item
will be placed on next month's board meeting to finalize. Mr. Jones requested that
a Resolution to -add a Travel -Policy be presented at the January 2011 Regular
Meeting, for the board to vote on: ``
