AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Special Session at
6:00 p.m., June 30, 2010 in the City Administration Building, Room 111, Fayetteville,
AR.
Commissioners Present: Mark Kinion, Olivia Horn, Hugh Earnest and
Brittany Kendrick
Commissioners Absent: Leon Jones, Jr.
Others Present: Fredia Sawin (Fayetteville Housing Authority)
Mark Kinion, Chairman called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00
p.m.
II. Approval of Resolution #876 -PHA Certifications of Compliance with the
PHA Plans and Related Regulations: Board Resolution to Accompany the
PHA -5 Year and Annual PHA Plan (For Public Housing AR097)-Mr. Earnest
made a motion to amend the plan to include the purchase of a generator for
the Hillcrest Towers Building in 2011. Discussion was made by the board and
Mr. Earnest determined he would resend his motion because he may be able to
go through the City of Fayetteville and file for a grant through their CDBG
Department to obtain the generator. Ms. Horn then motioned to accept
Resolution #876, seconded by Ms. Kendrick and carried unanimously.
III. Approval of Resolution #877 -PHA Certifications of Compliance with the
PHA Plans and Related Regulations: Board Resolution to Accompany the
PHA 5 -Year and Annual PHA (For Section 8 Program ARI 81) -Motion was
made by Mr. Earnest to accept Resolution #877, seconded by Ms. Horn and
carried unanimously.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned.
