AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Special Session at
12:00 p.m., March 9, 2009 at the Fayetteville Housing Authority office, #1 North School
Ave., Fayetteville, AR.
I. Olivia Horn, Chairperson called the meeting to order at approximately 12:02
p.m.
Commissioners Present: Olivia Horn, Hugh Earnest and Leon Jones, Jr. (via
telephone per motion made by Hugh Earnest,
seconded by Leon Jones, Jr. and carried
unanimously).
Commissioners Absent: Beautiful Gibson and Mark Kinion
Others Present: R.J. Stidham (R.J. Stidham & Associates), Kim
Peters (Metropolitan Bank), Robin Mero
(Northwest Arkansas Times) and Laura Higgins
(Fayetteville Housing Authority)
H. Approval of Affordable Housing Program Application -Mr. Stidham reviewed
with the Board that this application represented a direct grant of $262,000. for
Morgan Manor Village to be built adjacent to Morgan Manor Apts. This grant
will provide the funding for green technologies that otherwise would not be
funded through other sources. Questions were asked by the board and then
Mr. Earnest motioned to accept the Affordable Housing Program Application,
seconded by Mr. Jones and carried unanimously.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned.
